This was the last project of my foundation year at Kingston University. The project explored my Christian faith as a queer person and the feeling of needing to hide parts of my identity in both communities. The final outcome was a new 'Sunday Best' that expresses the dissonance sartorially, whilst forming a protest to conformity. This project led to my three-part zine publication Queer Christianity in 2019, discussing gender and love stories in the bible as well as faith outside of church spaces. This work reflects a personal crisis but also acts as a material record of the existence of Queer Christians and queer people of faith.
